Hey all just wanted to let you all know we now have a NEW freeware section. It doesn't have much in it yet and probably won't have as much as the old site had but it will have only the very best freeware and shareware programs.
You could also look for some screensavers and games to be added in the very near future.
Remember it's not completely done yet so dont' expect a whole lot.

Good Afternoon Everyone,
I just wanted to let everyone know that since we had to migrate over the site to a new platform, the programming course that were getting together was temporarily being delayed. Despite the delay, the course will still be taught and we've made further progress on the classes site. For those of you who have an interest in getting started in programming and don't know: InsaneRealm will be teaching a programming course utilizing the language Visual Basic .NET (VB9 Respectively). The class will be taught by no other than yours truly. A quick and stripped down course syllabus can be found by clicking Here.

It's with great sadness and a heavy heart that I announce the end of the road for me on InsaneRealm/DarkYahoo. I came to this site almost 6 years ago as a member and was eventually befriended by m4id3n. Turned out we lived near one another; just a few blocks and actually shared a few web programming and design classes. She asked me to be an admin on DarkYahoo and I couldn't accept fast enough. I learned a lot about not only making a web site but also the day to day administration.
After m4id3n passed away. I took over some of the maintaining of the sites code and along with HDK who took care of the server we kept the backend of the site running. Even if he didn't know I was poking around back there.... lol
